Founded in 2009, The Lewes Yacht Club Foundation is an IRS sec. 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization separate from the Lewes Yacht Club.  The Foundation funds programs for a diverse group of young people across the Delaware Bay region.

The Foundation provides Grants to organizations which offer youth programs for swimming & water safety, sailing, maritime activities, and educational enrichment.  

The Foundation also offers undergraduate college Scholarships for Maritime Studies, Competitive Swimming, and Competitive Sailing.
